Nothing but nice things to say about Meissner. Had a tune-up this week while I waited! Good service. I have used them before. Decent prices.

Meissner Auto is a family owned shop and they do GREAT work! Head to toe and hands down, this is the ONLY shop I go to because they are experienced, trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient. I feel sa fe taking my car to them because I know they arent going to play around with me and say something needs replacing that actually doesnt or charge me a ton in the process. Everything gets explained to me in full detail so I understand whats necessary and the shop crew are not only friendly but funny while your waiting too! I highly recommend Meissner Auto and will even go as far as to say they are the BEST shop in the Bay Area. Thanks guys! Keep up the GREAT work!

I have been going to Meissner for 25 plus years. Years ago I went in for a grinding noise in the back, expecting a big expense. He replaced the wheel bearings for under $100. I have been a big fan ever since.

Meissner Automotive saved my Thanksgiving. No kidding. I was about to get on the road with kids in the late afternoon to start the Thanksgiving trek to Los Angeles when I got a flat. I went to Meissner not sure what to expect or if they had time to help. I am not a regular customer of theirs. Still, Gary stopped whatever he was doing, took my tire off the car to fully inspect it, found a leak and plugged it within the half hour and I was on my way. This is very classy. We had a safe trip and arrived well before midnight... Thank you Meissner Automotive!

Gary Meissner's shop is worthy of all these good reviews! Fair and honest just like the others say. Even the filtered reviews are good. If you have mechanical needs look no further. If your trying to fix your radio there are specialty shops for that, i.e. sole bad review with electrical issues. I am SURE Gary did more for that customer then ANY other shop would have. I have been a happy customer for over 10 years!

If you are looking for a reliable mechanic that will not short change you, go for Meissner. Moving to the Southbay area, I asked my friend which mechanics he would recommend. Living in SF, he only knew reliable mechanics in his hometown, so he forwarded me a list from a news program of mechanics that gives great auto service with a reasonable price. I would not say they have the cheapest price for oil change, but it's good to bring the car in so they can make sure everything else is okay. HERE IS WHY I DECIDED TO WRITE A REVIEW My wife's Accord was having a slight accelerations problem, I took it in to see if Meissner can fix it. Kurt (son of owner Gary Meissner) & the crew figured out the problem which was a software issue. Only the dealer could fix this problem, however so Kurt proceeded to have the Honda dealer fix the Accord. He let the dealer know what his thoughts were with the problem was (software). The Honda dealer did not listen to Kurt, however and proceeded to perform a $500+ repair. When Kurt got the car back, he tested it out & he was not satisfied with the outcome. He took the car back to the dealer to have them fix it again (making sure they take care of the software issue). The dealer ended up fixing it after 7 days of back and forth with Meissner. During that time, Kurt even gave me a complimentary loaner car while my Accord was being repaired at the dealer. (It's not a Lexus, but it's fine as long as it gets me from point A to B). At the end, the Accord was all fixed and I did not have to paid less than $500 for the repair. Kurt argued with the dealer to not charge me that $500+ bill since it did not fix the problem. When I got the car back, Kurt did not even want me to pay for the repair until I drove it for a week to make sure we are happy with the outcome. I'm sure Meissner did not get much out of that repair, if at all. In fact, I'm sure they must have lost some money from it. Meissner Auto took their responsibility of getting my car fixed and my satisfaction very seriously. They are smart about investing in customer's satisfaction than counting pennies for every service. That's why they will get my business again.

This is an excellent repair shop!The Meissner's know cars!! Their prices are reasonable and you can trust their knowledge, expertise, and most of all, their WORK!This is the Last Honest Auto Shop and I wont take my car anywhere else!

Gary Meissner and his staff are highly professional, thorough, honest and fair. One really gets a sense of their commitment to excellence and the obvious professional pride that goes into each job.My vehicle is mostly used for my business, which requires a tremendous amount of driving. Six years ago, when it was definitely time to get a new car, Gary was wonderful about taking the time to recommend what kind of car would be the most advantageous and problem-free for my sort of work. I took his advice and the car I purchased on his recommendation has been perfect for the job and is still going strong!

A-Acar Rent-A-Car, especially the manager, "Steve" is exceptional! The rental prices are very resonable and their service is more than any car rental service company I've experienced! This is the only auto rental company outside of the airport that allows after hours drop off. They will also allow you to drop your car at the airport for an additional $40.00My visiting professor friend will have several items to take back with her to the, "Down Under" country.The manager at A-Acar Rent-A-Car vollenteered to drive her to the airport. She will need to have curbside service due to the items she will be taking with her. We had not thought about how she would check her items and leave the car in the designated pickup area. The manager, Steve asked how she would manage? Then he proceeded to vollenteer to take her to the airport!My loyalty and reccommendation's will be with A-Acar Rent-A-Car and Steve!Thank you Steve!Sincerely,Patricia
