We have been taking our cars to Meissner for five years and they are easily the best car repair shop we have ever used. They have fixed problems that no one else could fix and always with a smile. They are unfailingly polite, helpful, and honest.

Meissner Auto is a family owned shop and they do GREAT work! Head to toe and hands down, this is the ONLY shop I go to because they are experienced, trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient. I feel safe taking my car to them because I know they arent going to play around with me and say something needs replacing that actually doesnt or charge me a ton in the process. Everything gets explained to me in full detail so I understand whats necessary and the shop crew are not only friendly but funny while your waiting too! I highly recommend Meissner Auto and will even go as far as to say they are the BEST shop in the Bay Area. Thanks guys! Keep up the GREAT work!

I had been looking for a good shop in the San Jose area and hadn't found one yet. Then, one day, my friend brought her BMW to Meissner Automotive because we work right next door. She told me that it was a family run business that had been around for 50 years and the former president of our company took his car there. I went with her when she picked up her car and spoke to Kurt about some work I needed done on my Yukon. He was very friendly and professional and told me to bring it by in the morning. They spent the day working on it and found that I needed some additional work done that was not aware of. Since I needed to leave early, he ensured that my Yukon would be safe to drive home and asked me to bring it back tomorrow. He didn't even ask me to pay for the work they had done that day. I brought it back the next day and they fixed it, found a few other things that needed to be fixed and showed me all the parts that were damaged and explained the repairs to me when I picked it up. Each time, I visited or called (since I work right next door I could just walk over), they were very friendly, called me by name and treated me like I'd been going to them for years. I have already referred many people to this shop and am so pleased that I finally found them.

We've been going to this place for years and they are great! Honest, trustworthy, family run business. We've been going here for at least 5 years now. Recently, the toyota dealership told us we need to have work done on a Prius that would cost $500. Meissner said they could do it for $200. Toyota also said we needed to have some other work done (radiator replaced - said you could see it leaking) and we had Meissner check it out and turns out that the part was fine and we didn't need a new one. Basically, I will always take my car to Meissner over the toyota dealership. Way cheaper, more trustworthy, and a local business. They also are pretty quick about getting service done. Especially if you call ahead and see if they can fit you in. Great place, overall! Nothing but good things to say about them!

my car was having overheating problems and leaking power steering fluid, they took care of me.

they are very sweet, my car wasn't starting and we found out all i needed was a new battery. thank you kurt :-)
